Established in 2022 at the Central Metallurgical Research and Development Institute (CMRDI), the Batteries Technology Department aims to advance sustainable green energy solutions in support of Egyption Vision 2030 and Strategy 2050. The department focuses on developing high-performance battery components and energy storage systems, promoting technology transfer to strengthen local industries, and fostering international collaboration in energy research. Its work enhances Egyption competitiveness in energy technologies while driving innovation in electric vehicle batteries, renewable energy storage, and portable electronic applications.
